About
Representing 90 families, 273 species and 3782 individual plants.
*Acknowledging the traditional owners upon whose ancestral lands each of the University of Sydney campuses stand. *
CampusFlora extends the teaching of botany from the classroom into the University of Sydney campus grounds and enables us to share our learning resources with the broader community. CampusFlora maps the locations of individual plants and provides botanical information on each species. Where known, the names of plants are offered in Indigenous language(s).
Collections highlight important aspects of select groups of plant taxa. We encourage those CampusFlora users to offer feedback, which we will use to shape future versions of this resource and to develop additional collections.
The project team acknowledges the support of the School of Life and Environmental Sciences, The University of Sydney grounds staff and the Deputy Vice Chancellor Indigenous Strategy and Services.
